Deepcent Co., Ltd. (CEO Kwon Il-bong) announced that it will participate in the ‘2023 World IT Show (WIS 2023)’ to be held at COEX in Seoul from Wednesday, April 19th to Friday, April 21st.

DeepScent supplies digital olfactory solutions through the convergence of AI, IoT, and XaaS technologies to traditional scent products. Based on the B2C customer-customized scent on-demand service ‘FOD (Fragrance on demand)’ and the B2B real-time digital scent service ‘FaaS (Fragrance as a Service)’, we aim to provide customers with a healthy and happy daily life through digital transformation of the fragrance industry. .

The fragrance industry is a market with slow digital transformation and high technical difficulty compared to technologies related to other five senses, and Deepscent is promoting its digital olfactory solution technology through participation in this exhibition.

DeepScent explained about its solution, “Hundreds of scent combinations can be created with just four scent capsules inserted into the hardware, and the scent can be changed from one specific scent to another in close to real time.”

In addition, it is also considered an advantage to be able to provide scent-related content through the application, such as IoT-based device control, scent blending change, and customized scent recommendations based on accumulated scent big data. Officials explain that it can cover a space of about 20 pyeong in a short time, and can monitor and manage hundreds to thousands of devices through central control.

The market for five sense technologies, including audiovisual, is being reorganized into an on-demand system. Accordingly, a Deepscent official said, “As there is no market leader in the digital transformation of olfactory technology, our company is solving the need for hyper-personalization of scent by combining the core technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution such as AI and IoT with traditional scent products and helping consumers “We provide scents on demand, providing what you want immediately.”

After Ver.1 was exported to Japan in 2019, Ver.2, which improved software and hardware functions based on feedback from customers and partners, was released. After completing exports to Japan in 2022, we are carrying out overseas branching projects to stabilize the company in the local market, and thus Deepcent expects to be able to achieve additional export performance in the first half of 2023. In addition, we plan to expand into new overseas markets such as the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.

Currently, we are using DeepScent Lounge to jointly research and develop olfactory-based digital healthcare technology aimed at improving stress and sleeping disorders, and integrating indoor olfactory environment by fusing monitoring and digital scent service to improve indoor air quality in 2024. We plan to provide control services.

Meanwhile, the ‘World IT Show’, a one-stop platform for digital transformation, is a representative exhibition leading the next-generation high-tech industry. The 2023 World IT Show, with the slogan ‘Changing our life, K-Digital’, will feature △AI, IoT & ICT convergence services △Digital Twin & Metaverse △Smart Living and Healthcare △Robotics The latest technologies and products in the fields of △future mobility such as autonomous driving and UAM, and △blockchain & security will be displayed and introduced.
